Initiatives include:
  • information and referral to community resources and supports
  • promote awareness of mental health issues
  • community awareness 
  • support group meetings for survivors
  • organizes public meetings and community education sessions for awareness

Events include:
  • annual walk for Suicide Awareness in Spring each year, registration and pledge forms available from website
  • World Suicide Awareness and Prevention Day held annually in September
  • International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day held annually, usually on the third Sat of November
